Future Vibes. The latest must have creation from Professional Sound Designer & Producer, Erik Jackson.

Follow the layered analog signal flow of 4 Synthesizers to lush soundscapes that areFuture Vibes. The Future Vibes sample pack is composed of the following layeredSynthesizers:

  • Moog Sub Phatty
  • Moog Minitaur
  • Moog Little Phatty
  • Roland SH101

Enter the Future Vibes Analog Signal Chain:

Each Synthesizer was run through its own Avalon 737 Pre-Amp, shaped with a Universal Audio TwinFinity, and finally processed using the Van Amps Reverbmate. From there, Future Vibes was recorded through an SSL AWS 900 to a Studer A810 Tape Machine.

As always, Erik Jackson broke the sample pack down into the following chord groups:

  • A Minor
  • C Minor
  • E Minor

Future Vibes is broken down into the following folder structure for easy access:

  • Ambience
  • Phases
  • Bass
  • Breaks

The Ambience Section allows you to pick your key and begin laying out the chordal structure of your song. The Phrases Section allows you to add some melodic structure to your song. The Bass Section has very deep & oscillating bass tones (Long One Shots). Erik Jackson also created 30 loop drum breaks to chop using his Akai MPC 2000XL.

This year we have been partnered up with 2Dopeboyz and a number of Producers to create original content, remix contests, etc. The Drum Broker is growing as a platform! We are seeing customers getting placements using our samples and materials, and doing some pretty amazing things!

The Beatnick Dee x Drum Broker x 2Dopeboyz ‘Creative Medicine’ Remix contest is over and the winner is one of our loyal customers, Sez, who comes from New Delhi, Inidia.

Sez remixed Big Twin’s ‘Never Looked Back’ produced by Beatnick Dee using EXCLUSIVELY Drum Broker Samples. Everything from the track is available through The Drum Broker Site!

We look forward to continuing to highlight and showcase as well as propel customers and producers as much as possible for the rest of 2015 and 2016!

Introducing Dusted Crates by Erik Jackson, The Drum Broker’s go to A-List sound designer and drum architect.

Dusted Crates is a collection of 30 breaks that range from 20 seconds to a minute long. More than simple drum loops, Dusted Crates features drum phrases with plenty of change ups, rolls, & fills.

These breaks were inspired by years of digging for the perfect BIG drum break. The breaks have been recorded and processed to sound like they came from Vinyl. The breaks sound big, vintage, and grimy and are sprinkled with plenty of crackle, pops, and tape hiss.

The 8-minute demo only features 20 of the 30 breaks. These are long breaks, meant to give you plenty of opportunity to chop the phrases into smaller pieces.

  • Recorded with the Audix DP7 Drum Microphone Pack
  • Universal Audio 4-710d Pre Amp

Bullyfinger is back with an all new original kit, sound designed from the ground up. Enter Boom Kick Bass
It’s that low end thump you hear when you ride through town. We’ve taken five analog drum units from the past 30 years and recorded the best variations of each unit, tweaking to taste using our outboard gear. Each unit’s kick drums have been pitched across the keys (or pads) to use as kick drums or kick-basslines in your production. Dial in the amount of decay you wish within Kontakt or any soft sampler that accepts the soundfont format. We have even included a lovely 808 bass drum clone that has the longest decay time available, effectively turning it into an 808 drone.
As always we have recorded using gear from API, SPL, Neve, Dave Smith Instruments and Little Labs.
